About me:
|
I'm 35, father of a 2 year old, husband of 5 years, together for 10, and an auto mechanic for a major US car company. I've based my current career on something that will eventually come to pass. It has imparted lots of mechanical wisdom upon me, for that I am grateful. Heck we had an electric truck that would go 75 MPH and get 300 miles on a charge and they recalled and destroyed them all! I have long sensed the stagnation/suppression of technology available to the general populous. I am just about over it. I am prepared to let go of "life as we know it" and get back to being one with nature as we were intended. I have always felt like something was not right in life and the ways of the world, I had the wool pulled over my eyes like so many others. Trying to live the "American Dream" (look that up on You Tube, George Carlin-American Dream, for a good laugh)
Then one day I found a couple things online that made me ask a couple of questions, then a couple more... the rest turned into countless hours of researching conspiracy, politics, finance schemes, the Mayan calendar, global warming, and the like. I have since slowed down with the "sky is falling" mumbo jumbo (even though it a is valid concern) and have been focusing on sustainability and spirituality.
Since Ivan noted in one of his videos that what music and TV you give your attention to, you in fact absorb into your subconsciousness, my whole perspective on things has changed. I was a die hard heavy metal head, loved partying and racing cars, I had favorite TV shows.... now I am searching for answers, meditating, listening to soothing ,music with no words or beat, I despise television, I'm growing a garden, planning/dreaming of moving to the mountains and putting up all my old hobby items for sale just to get rid of them. Wow what a rant! At least you know a little about me now, don't you?

Favorite Music:
|
I guess i still like all this stuff, I just take it with a grain of salt and don't listen too much to it anymore. Slayer, Pantera, Slipknot, Alice in Chains, Tool etc, also I was a Drum and Bass DJ for about 8 years in there too, doing a weekly internet radio show for about 5 of those. I still DJ from time to time, but only when asked to. Now I listen to meditative and relaxing music whenever I can. Would love to hear some crystal bowls played live as well.

Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
"When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic." - Donald James
"There is a tendency in our planning to confuse the unfamiliar with the improbable. The contingency we have not considered seriously looks strange; what looks strange is thought improbable; what is improbable need not be considered seriously." - Thomas Schelling
