Considering the potential events in question, I would like to hear what people think about safe locations, if you are a community leader, why is your location ideal, what boxes have you ticked to have a chance, if you are a potential future member, what are you looking for when it comes to location and community systems? We have so many option on this website alone Australia Canada U.S North Italy Spain Argentina and many more it would be good to know people think some location aren't safe, I guess it all depends on what you actually believe, which future maps are reliable, what scientific evidence is reliable, which prediction or sacred scriptures are original texts and not manipulated etc... I am interested on knowing exactly why and what people are considering to do, if you have the time please pass on your reasons and advice or suggestions. |

I haven't done a real research in this subject, but should we consider places that are proved to have survived a pole-shift type of disaster in the past? My thinking is just that if those places are still standing today, maybe they were "untouched" by major disaster, therefore, they are safe places, by some reason. Can anyone educate me on this if I am not correct? Cheers! |

That sounds right to me, but, I live in the UK and historically the UK does pretty well in these areas. The trouble is I am not convinced that staying on this island come a pole-shift/ice-age or what not, would be a great idea when you take into account that there will be 70 million scared and hungry people, this country is not the country it used to be when we looked after each other...Oh dear I just realized that I am starting to sound like my dad....lol |

You have the right idea, even if its a kind of how the cookie crumbles scenario in the end, no one can really confirm nothing will happen on the 'X'. I think the obvious boxes would be - away for volcanic, nuclear and tectonic dangers. High enough above sea level and far enough inland, ideally not exposed to large oceans and away from major cities, towns etc...desperate people, gangs, gorilla army's would be the final wave of trouble, unless the government does enforce martial law which will protect us or slow down actions from the sadly unprepared or angry troubled souls, wanting what they don't have. |

I am surprised to see no names from African continent in the above mentioned list. I think majority of the parts in Africa continent would survive. However, this is purely guess work; and question is whether to follow our intuition or some logically selected place. There are certain variables to consider before deciding a safe place: A: Nature of potential disasters! Is there going to be pole shift? What would be the nature of pole shift, magnetic, physical, or both? What will be the consequences i.e. high tidal waves (how much height), earth quakes, Yellow Stone and other volcanoes going off? Will there be nuclear radiation going off from nuclear reactors and warheads throughout the world? Will we lose our memory due to zero magnetic field? Will we encounter zero gravity? Will there be comets & asteroids hitting the earth? Will there be gamma radiation from supernova blast? Will there be massive solar flare (CME)? B: Post Disaster scenario! Will there be proper sunlight after the disaster to live upon the earth? Will there be fresh air left to breathe and plants to survive? Will there be land remained for agriculture and plants? Will your resources would work in post-disaster scenario? I think if consider the above expressed scenarios; and try to find a safe place which will be least affected by them. In my point of view, there are some variables to watch to decide a safe place on earth: Find out ancient structures on earth, which are still standing surviving many disasters i.e. great pyramid. Find out where indigenous tribes have made their shelter i.e. Hopi, Maya, Waitaha, Maori, Tibetan lamas, and many other, which have been talking about earth changes. Find out what shadow government is doing i.e. underground bases in different countries. Find out some future maps of the world talked about possibly by Gordan Michael and Tori's, etc. Most importantly what your intuition (heart) says without being influenced by fear. I think above description might be useful to contemplate about deciding a safest place on earth. ______________________ "The First Sign of You Becoming Spiritual is Becoming Cheerful" |

The reason you probably don't see any African country listed there is because there seems to be no community being set up in Africa within this site .. but many mountain ranges there look very safe to me .. however i dont' know if you will end up confronting some Shaka Zulu tribe or some subversive groups armed to the teeth with AK47 .. i just don't know. I've tried to determine the safest places in a previous thread in old Timeline2012 site and got a lot of heat for doing so .. i've learned a hard lesson there .. people tend to react in an emotional negative manner if their supposed safe location is being questioned. It's however a very understable emotion .. we as humans tend to react if our safety is threatened .. even from a psichological point of view .. neurotic denial is one of the most common reaction. Some of my assumptions were wrong and some were not .. i changed my location 3 times since i began investigating this issue .. and have no problem saying so. I'm working on a detailed location safety paper and will post it anytime soon .. meanwhile you can check the post in the old site .. a lot of valuable feedback has been provided by many members (in other similars threads too). http://www.timeline2012.com/index.php/es/my-timeline/forum/2-geophysical-a-cosmic-events/65-safest-place-on-earth There some common grounds regarding general considerations .. like you have to be away from coast lines .. tectonic plates borders and volcanos .. these apply to any possible scenario. Now .. when it comes to a more precise determination you'll step upon two key points: - New poles position - Geo political factors In this regards, it's no news i've said many times that i think the new north pole will be somewhere between Canada and the north of Brazil .. and provided lots of evidence and sources to support that claim .. wich i never found from people claiming otherwise. However i found that people living in those places are more likely to discredit it from an emotional perspective and believing anyone that says otherwise instead of taking the time to make an extensive research and prove me wrong .. i can understand that .. we are all humans after all and we can all be wrong .. so who am i to tell you your location ain't safe if you dont think so? it gets worst when you realize that many people simply don't have the resources to relocate .. and as you start feeling some empathy with these people .. it becomes somewhat inhuman to speak out your thoughts. Regarding the Geo Political factor it just takes a bit of common sense and an open mind to realize that all NATO countries are jam packed with nuclear plants .. are all potential targets of bio/nuclear terrorist attacks .. subjects of NWO martial law .. enforced vaccinations .. micro chipping .. FEMA camps .. etc. Not to mention the outcome if China gets involved in a nuclear war after Israel/USA invades Iran as predicted .. You can do the math from there. |

I have chosen Canada BC for my safe location almost 1000 kl away from any threating coast line and almost 2000ft above sea level. I would of prefered 5000ft above sea level but with all the 10,000ft peaks between me and the coast I guess that would slow any mega tsunami.also no fault lines or volcanoes that really threaten me ______________________ It has been reported that our well-oiled government is planning mass evacuations of Gulf coast cities. Sources close to the government like investigative journalist Wayne Madsen reported: “Plans are being put in place for the mandatory evacuation of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mandeville, Hammond, Houma, Belle Chase, Chalmette, Slidell, Biloxi, Gulfport, Pensacola, Hattiesburg, Mobile, Bay Minette, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, Crestview, and Pascagoula.”Council on Foreign Relations member, Matt Simmons, was quoted on June 23rd in the Washington Post, "We're going to have to evacuate the gulf states. Can you imagine evacuating 20 million people? . . . This story is 80 times worse than I thought." And to add to the growing speculation that evacuations were being planned, Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen in a Gulf oil spill press conference on June 25th suggested that evacuation plans were underway. He even discussed some of the logistics: "We would designate essential and non-essential personnel, and non-essential personnel would basically take shelter. Ideally, we would not do this at the same time they are trying to do an evacuation of citizens, so there's a staging of this, and we actually would coordinate that with FEMA and the local governments. " If Katrina was any indication of how the U.S. government handles mass evacuations, then responsible residents should begin planning their move now before they are forced to leave at gunpoint. Remember military in the streets and “temporary” FEMA housing? It seems clearer by the day that mass evacuations may be inevitable as several imminent threats to human health are converging with no end in sight. Experts are sounding the alarm on many fronts: • Hurricane season is rapidly approaching which will contaminate everything. • A gigantic methane bubble has been discovered which can explode. • Methane levels at 1 million times normal levels along with other dangerous toxins in the air. • Corexit dispersant is reportedly causing mass crop damage. • Oil rain has been reported in multiple Gulf coast states. Since these health risks do not carry the immediate shock effect of a powerful Category 5 hurricane, it may be difficult to convince residents to leave the area especially with the EPA’s history of lying about air quality. Therefore, the authorities may have to use even harsher measures to get citizens to comply with evacuation orders. And where will the government put 20 million displaced Americans? Over the years researches have revealed that FEMA camps do in fact exist and surely they will be utilized in an event of this scale. Government documents indicate many more have been built since the last time the U.S. government actively used them to lock up Japanese Americans in internment camps after Pearl Harbor. Surely, FEMA will call these locations something mild like temporary “Relocation” camps to soothe the scared public. With no viable solutions to stop the oil from gushing and the deadly toxins from leaching into all life systems, it seems the region may become a dead zone for decades to come. Clearly, free-thinking residents must be contemplating their future along the Gulf coast as quite bleak. For Gulf Coasters, it may be wise to evaluate relocation options now before FEMA invites you camping. |

My husband and I are considering NE New Mexico around Taos. They have large communities of earthships - self contained off-grid homes at various elevations. These are constructed using old tires, bottles and cans and adobe. They have their own electrical and water containment systems as well as internal gardens using rain/snow melt, which onceused in sinks is flushed into a gray water system for plants and from their filtered again for use to flush toilets as black water which goes to a septic tank. Water is refiltered to outside plants and further filtered by soil before it goes into underground water systems. The elevation is around 8000+ feet, away from volcanic fiends less than millions of years old, upthrust rather than volcanic mountains in the immediate region. Only one nuclear plant in the extreme southern area of the state and one in Arizona. It is also a considerable distance from any ocean. I am sure no area is going to escape possible danger, but it is fairly free from many of the major ones. The Rio Grande River is along a major fault line from eons previous, but we hope to be a considerable distance east of that. If we survive the 2012 disasters, we feel we might have a chance at survival. Any comments are welcome. Judy Alcala |

Fernando as always, very detailed and well informed, well said, a lot of your comments hit home for all of us. I guess as Einstein said - Its gods throw of the dice - something like that, not that this is a huge casino, LOL and everything is a gamble, more like God has the last word, even if we sell our motorbike for safety. Good luck all, everyone needs it, yet doing what we are doing does help our chances, keep it up all. |

Well i can definetely say that this topic has evolved quite well since it was posted on the last website. Fernando touched on the fact it was a pretty harsh topic to get involved with on the other site. There was a lot of negative energy and feedback for reasons fernando described. But that energy has definetely shifted now. Now we all can talk about good suggestions, but realize they're only suggestions and just because an area didn't seem to be affected by the last shift, doesn't mean it will be safe this time. It really is a roll of the dice. |

A good source of info is www.zetatalk.com link "Safe Locs". Here are some details: Australia: Western side will be under water; eastern side will rise; Tasmania is best bet. Africa: No good locations. North America: Alberta in Canada and adjacent states in USA. Europe: Scandinavia, especially northern Finland, except for cold weather until the pole shift. See also the book "Mass Dreams of the Future" by C.B. Snow and an interview of him in Project Camelot. Here are some notes about the book "Mass Dreams of the Future" by Chet B. Snow, PhD (1989): Those "dreams" are not dreams while sleeping, they are visions of conditions in the future that subject persons reported as they were lead through future-life-progression sessions (the time-forward version of past life regressions) for the years 2100 A.D. and 2300 A.D.. The "mass" part of the results arose because four common scenarios were reported (one scenario per subject in each time period) by 133 out of 144 subjects for the 2100 time, and by 251 subjects for the 2300 time. Although approximately 2,500 persons had attempted to participate in future-life progression sessions, which were done in several locations by three investigators from 1980 to 1988, only about 5 percent perceived physical lifetimes in 2100 A.D. and about 12 percent perceived physical lifetimes in 2300 A.D.. An interview of the author is at http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/members/csnow.htm It is important to view the interview before reading the book, because he explains how a discrepancy arose between the dates of the cataclysms as foreseen at the time of writing the book and the dates that are currently foreseen. The four distinct and partially-incompatible scenarios that were commonly described by almost all subjects during future-life-progression sessions for both 2100 AD and 2300 AD were, roughly, 1) living in spaceships or space stations, 2) living happily in a pleasant, natural environment and a "New Age" society, 3) living in domed communities or partially underground shelters protected from a toxic atmosphere, 4) living in rustic, 19th-century-type conditions. A few other individual cases were reported for each time period. Conditions reported for 2300 AD were somewhat advanced from the conditions of 2100 AD, and the author defined the following cases and sub-cases for that time period. 1a: In space. 1b: Solar space colony. 1c: Non-solar system planet. 2: "New Age" without sub-cases. 3a: High tech. 3b: High tech evolved. 4a: Rustic. 4b: Survivors. Most of the subjects reported occasional or frequent contact or communication with extraterrestrials and/or non-physical entities. Also, many of them said that they got at least some of their provisions from (or in) spaceships and/or at depots or warehouses, some of which were automated with no live operator visible. However, neither of those aspects of their lives were reported by anyone in the 2100 AD group 4. The book also contains extensive discussions of 1) both the prophesies and scientific data concerning impending earth changes (as known at the time of writing -- now not complete, of course), and 2) how and why the four different scenarios could exist simultaneously. The author also reports the results of a few future-life-progression sessions, including his own, that were directed to the time of earth changes. Those changes were catastrophic, and he personally reported, during one future-life session, that the loss of life was in the millions. He also speculated, in writing the book, that the reason that only 5% of the subjects reported future lives in 2100 was a lack of bodies available to incarnate into due to severe depopulation during the earlier earth changes. Some details that interested me especially are that 1) Arizona will be severely effected by earthquakes and cold, overcast weather even during summers, and 2) the Dakotas and Saskatchewan fair much better. Some extracts from the author's reports of his own future-life progressions are given below. Generally, they correspond to several sequential future times and two locations. 1) At a location in Arizona, north of Phoenix: "[A] thought that gnawed at the edges of my consciousness during much of that first future trip was, frankly, an underlying fear of discovery by other human beings! Even though I felt rather isolated and protected at the ranch, inside I knew that if outsiders became aware of our relatively secure existence there, we would have to defend it or flee. ... [The ranch] would provide our group with shelter and security, even from what apparently had become our most dangerous enemy -- the roving bands of half-crazed marauders spawned by the major cities." (page 6) "Crops had become more difficult to grow and the soil seemed very disappointing to me as I had tried hard to equal or surpass the preceding year's harvest. I think that increasingly bad and unpredictable weather was the major culprit." (page 12) "... it now seemed as if the world had collapsed and everything that had been important before no longer mattered. ... I immediately knew that large chunks of the former West Coast had quickly sunk into the Pacific Ocean as several earthquakes and volcanic eruptions had decimated the 'Ring of Fire' borderlands surrounding the Pacific earth plate. It might be more accurate to say that the ocean had come rushing up into the California valleys as the bottom had literally fallen out at key coastal junctures, shaken by the seismic activity. Water stretched as far inland in some areas as parts of Nevada and Arizona." (page 13) "...the Earth shook almost constantly and the climate was much colder and wetter than before. A cold, clammy wind was almost always blowing. The sky remained obscured, even in the daytime, by all the earth and ash thrown up the earthquakes and volcanoes that had preceded the West Coast collapse. ... the United States has been all but cut in two. Most east-west transportation and communications links were severed." (page 14) "We were also very concerned about contacting survivors, both individuals and groups, and bringing them in to add their talents to ours. ... In addition, we kept on working on perfecting the rudimentary psychic communications and healing network that had begun earlier." (page 16) "Apparently the area from Alberta to Saskatchewan and eastern Washington State to the Dakotas remained intact. It was still connected to our part of the continent by the Rocky Mountains and those parts of the Great Plains not inundated when the Gulf of Mexico had surged north as land under parts of the Caribbean rose and quakes collapsed the Mississippi Valley." (page 17) "Panic and lawlessness ensued on a large scale. State and local governments were unable to cope with the scope of devastation and collapse of commercial communications and transportation services. Periodic violent aftershocks disrupted relief efforts." (page 22) "Much of the desert southwest sustained significant damage, while simultaneous volcanic eruptions and earth shifts elsewhere around the planet compounded the problem. ... The weather also worsened as tons of dust and volcanic ash were thrown into the air by this second series of eruptions. Although the worst occurred during the first few weeks of havoc, the Sun simply did not return through the thick black clouds that summer. Most green vegetation in a wide belt of the temperate zone withered and died ..." (page 22) 2) Sometime later at a location in Alberta, north of Edmonton: "It's surprisingly warm here. I've been told that the climate has shifted significantly the past couple of years, making this region much more temperate now." (page 23) "... there are only a few really permanent structures and these are of a geodesic dome design. Most everyone lives in lightweight collapsible buildings just one story tall. They're made of plastic or synthetic fabric stretched around aluminum or wooden poles, ... Sort of like Mongolian yurts, I'd say." (page 24) 3) At the time of his future death (summarized from pages 26 and 27): He became aware that several nonphysical beings were present, and he asked them what purpose the earth changes served. The reply was that there two types of earth-humans, the "garbage" and the "garbage men", or more politely, the compost and the gardeners. They explained that Earth is like a gardening project, and it is now overdue for a fallow or composting period. Natural forces, combined with mistreatment by humans, plunge the most overexploited areas into the sea for a rest, while some of the ocean bottoms rise as new, fertile lands. Such episodes recur in long natural cycles, and those who remain in physical bodies comprise two main groups. One group remains because they have more lessons to learn about loss, privation , survival, and self-reliance. For them, dealing with drastic changes is the most effective teacher. Those in the other group are mostly volunteers who wish to study world renewals or to accelerate personal growth by accepting difficult duty. They will see that things are cleaned up and that new land is used productively, and they will preserve essential spiritual and material knowledge. It is a very intriguing and useful book, although tedious in some chapters and now somewhat outdated. |

Information posted by Jim sound very similiar to zetatalk's predictions .. they predict USA to tear apart in the Missisipi river .. along new Madrid fault line .. they also predict that to happen "before" the pole shift. I'm reading Cliff High's report now and it seems than robbing bands and savage starving mobs heading to rural areas are a bigger issue than one may think .. i suggest people reconsider their concerns regarding fire arms .. you can use them for hunting if that makes you feel better. |

if the north american plate splits apart at the mississippi, it must be pulled in one direction, most likely west, southwestern, which means the whole north american continent would be experiencing something. I've done a lot of research into this area, i'm not to worried about zeta's predictions, not a very good track record. |

I'm sorry fernando, i should have explained a little more, cause i know exactly the response i'll hear defending the zeta if i dont. This is how i look at it. This source definetely has done a lot of research and if i discredit that it would be my loss. So i wont. But if someone covers every single theory from aliens to jesus to the sun to planet x so on and so on, it sounds like they're covering their bases. Why not predict every possible scenario so that when it happens one can say they're right. (i see a little bit of that happening here) Now surely they'll hit several predictions right, but i personally wouldn't put much reserve into any safe place predictions. Bottom line is there is no safe place on earth. Supporting the research i said i've done on this area. I have always believed the mississippi was formed by other than "natural drainage". The reason the new madrid zone exists, (and it's called a zone because their are no plate boundries here.) is it is a weaken area underneath the existing north american plate that we're riding on. Probably an old fault line from what they call the precambrian era. It is not subject to normal plate tectonic activity like we see today. It is just a weakened area underneath, so when the top plate moves, it does seem like there are tears in it. Here's my problem with zeta theory. Let's say the mississippi was formed by the surface splitting. It happened a long time ago and has since moved west of the current madrid zone, so if anything happens it would more likely to split right up the middle of illinois, where the current madrid zone is. But wait, that's where the illinois river is, so maybe it's already split? |

i take zetatalk's predictions with a pinch of salt .. as i said before .. there's a lot of valuable info in their site regarding a pole shift scenario .. regardless if they are right or wrong on what causes it. regarding the USA tear point .. i just said that zeta's predictions sound very similar to the visions Jim has posted here. |

From everything on here we all have to make that choice, move or be stuck where we are. I am on the second half of the spectrum. I also feel that where I am (Northern Michigan) I am about as safe as I could be! With all the people fleeing from east to west no one is going to venture to here. There is no where to go, simple as that! Michigan is surrounded by water and the ones who flee won't come this way as it's too much out of the way if they can't find a way across the big lakes, and anyone who is not sea worthy would be pretty desperate to try. They are more torrential than the ocean as far as storms! I have fished Lake Huron most of my life and been caught on the water by these storms in a 28 foot fishing boat. Never have I been more scared!! I once fell asleep because the waves were towering over my dad's boat and I knew we weren't gonna make it and my body just shut down! Imagine my dad when we got to the harbor and I was sleeping!! Call it a stupid reason for staying here but I am already in a remote area and feel it will remain that way! Just a thought anyway! ______________________ |

If anyone wants to get a better idea about what to expect, at least when the last pole shift/cosmic catastrophe struck earth, look into the book Cataclysm: Compelling Evidence of Catastrophe in 11,500 B.C the authors examine evidence across the globe and look at the effects of each type of catastrophe including Mega Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Fires and Volcanoes...All closing with the great flood, pretty much destroying every forest and sweeping clean entire continents. The book describes in detail that the Rocky Mountains of Colorado were made recently about 10,000 years or so. Almost all the origins of mountain ranges across the planet have obtained there present elevations, not due to subduction of plates or other popular theories of plate tectonics but rather crustal displacement and the actual collapsing of the crust into the mantle. This book is heavily cited with hundreds of references for each section. Please look into it and it will surely change your view on the world today. |

As to whether or not you can pick the very spot that will give you safety no matter what happens, is a question that no one could possibly answer. Higher ground that is not a mountain seems to make a lot of sense. Being in the forest as opposed to the open plain also seems to be a safer location. First, you need to do some regional geodynamics discovery. Where are the closest tectonic plates? Have there ever been earthquakes in this area? What is the tornado or hurricane history for this region? How far is the nearest large body of water? o Is there a history of severe flooding in the last 200 years? o Are there any dry lake or river beds near by? How close is the nearest mountain? Knowing what patterns of weather and disaster the area has been known to have could be very indicative of what may lie ahead. This theory is not infallible as the climate is changing on a global basis, but it is more intuitive for your selection of the safest shelter location as possible. Just as learning from human behavior and patterns in history assist us in preventing the same problems from repeating themselves, the same can be true of a geographical area and past natural disasters. Such as a dry lake bed or river bed, which is something most people would not think to look for. There are many spots where 50 to 100 years ago or more existed a body of water that just dried up. These are the first places to flood in heavy rainfall or excessive snow melt in spring. |

Living in a forest does feel safe, but there is a down side if the area is hit with fireballs and high winds, it could become an inferno very quickly. I live about 4 miles from the forest and wilderness area, that seems just about a safe distance for me. ______________________ "It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything. I don't know, Sometimes they get so hot they create their own weather system and can cause hurricane type winds which will make them jump up to a mile away. If we look back at some of the fires in Australia and California, They consumed everything in their paths, even well maintained cleared properties. If you were underground you might be fine, but fires like we will get in a pole shift will probably suck all the oxygen out of an area, and scorch the ground so bad it will take years to recover. ______________________ "It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything. Ottawa valley is safe in a 40 degree shift, puts in on the equator. But a 20 degree shift, puts it further north. We do have earthquakes, but only one major fault, but it doesnt run through the city, but near it, so possibly bad. However, for flooding its the ideal place, all models show the area still being above water, so this is good, and the area is very fertile, many forests and a national park, not to mention great farmland, more maple trees than you could ever tap for maple syrup. French being across the Ottawa river is perhaps a downside should they ever use a disruption in government to start an uprising or civil war. The Ottawa river does offer a unique transportation route to the St Lawrence, with a canal and lock system down to Kingston, with portaging being possible should the locks or canal be destroyed (highly doubtful). The area isnt highly populous, about a 1.5 million in the entire region maybe 2 million, but thats across a very large region, so you may or may not ever see anyone if your're in the sticks. |

I'm kinda liking this Zeta, Canada is looking good. All of Canada fares well during the coming pole shift, and depending upon its altitude will fare better after the pole shift than before, due to the climate changes. Canada in the main is not criss-crossed with earthquake faults of active volcanoes, and thus suffers less from the direct effects of earthquakes and exploding volcanoes during the pole shift. Due to the shifting crust, most surviving Canadians will also find themselves in a warmer climate too. Canada will be positioned above the equator in a temperate zone after the pole shift, in a wamer strata than at present. Where Canada is an ally of the US government, it is not all that comfortable with the giant to the south, and will rebel against any attempts to control Canadian lands after the pole shift. However, within Canada there are many factions that will battle with each other for resources. Where the Canadian people are resourceful and used to living in a harsh land deeply frozen during the long winters, in the cities as in all industrialized countries, the populace is soft and will be unprepared for Aftertime living when food stuffs are not imported. Religious factions, racial unease, and class differences will create tensions in tight times beyond what is already experienced, and should be anticipated. The worry Canadians should be concerned about is one that will sneak up on them, in the days leading into the pole shift and in the two years following. Much of Canada has a low altitude, and where land lies lower than 650 to 700 feet, this will be inundated within two years due to the melting ice caps of the old poles, now under the equatorial sun. Much of Canada is low lying land, as is much of Russia. When the Earth stops rotation, water slung toward the equator will drift toward the poles, creating some inland flooding in land near the poles. After the shift, when the poles rapidly melt under the equatorial sun, melted water will move toward the point of least resistance, which may often be inland if blockages occur. In any case, if one examines the sea level of land in eastern or northern Canada, one can see that the land will not be above water when the poles have completely melted. If situated in an area due to be inundated, survivors will have to repeatedly move ahead of the encroaching water, and take care they are not trapped on an island in the process! ZetaTalk ™ |

Seems to come back to the question, "Safe from What?" Whether it be tsunamis, encroaching waters, fireballs, solar flares, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, asteroid, planet X, this horrific list goes on much longer than list for positive results. What I gathered about Colorado is that it is not as much fear of Mother Nature as it is the Military Law laid down by U.S. Govt. who will come crawling out from Underground when time is ready. Of course, for many, this is all still speculation (warranted or not) but better prepared than not. ______________________ |

Ant Bee you hit the nail on the head, i would only concern myself with those factions, from the natives, the French and Americans are i think the 3 major factions we as Canadians should worry about. Many of our resources are completely untapped today, and we are still the largest source of fresh water, wild life, minerals and lumber. |

The reason you probably don't see any African country listed there is because there seems to be no community being set up in Africa within this site .. but many mountain ranges there look very safe to me .. however i dont' know if you will end up confronting some Shaka Zulu tribe or some subversive groups armed to the teeth with AK47 .. i just don't know.I've tried to determine the safest places in a previous thread in old Timeline2012 site and got a lot of heat for doing so .. i've learned a hard lesson there .. people tend to react in an emotional negative manner if their supposed safe location is being questioned. You can do the math from there.Hi there.Blackwolf from Cape Town South Africa here.Besides Cape Town and some or most see towns,I think South Africa could be some of the best places to be,depends how the pole shift gonna be.If the poles shift it might come down on top of of the Americas.I understand that when that happened, there could be same safe places on earth where the earth will move less than on other places.Look me up on my face book[piet blackwolf].I have some stories there about the dangers we might have here in Cape Town.We have a nuclear power station here that was predicted that it might blow up by our own prophet 100 years ago and then I just find out now that we have a earthquake fault underneath Cape Town that started to get active again. As for chaka zulu, you can make a plan with that if it comes to you but not if a wall of water coming towards you. I would like to start a survival group here, but when you dealing with sheep it's difficult to start something like that.So if there's any people here who's from Cape Town or knows people who stay here let them know and to contact me on facebook. |

Information posted by Jim sound very similiar to zetatalk's predictions .. they predict USA to tear apart in the Missisipi river .. along new Madrid fault line .. they also predict that to happen "before" the pole shift.I'm reading Cliff High's report now and it seems than robbing bands and savage starving mobs heading to rural areas are a bigger issue than one may think .. i suggest people reconsider their concerns regarding fire arms .. you can use them for hunting if that makes you feel better. |

We have 400,000 years of ice core data , if the poles had shifted during that time, that data would not exist. So ether the ice core data is wrong or the poles have not shifted for the last 400,000 years. If the earth changing events do happen I don't think any amount of preparation will save us. It will be a matter of luck for that 5% of the human population that survives. The most likely --We are starting the next ICE AGE, to be set in motion by the volcanic activity soon to come?? (the volcanic winter) Our biggest challenge will be to live through the political events of the next two years. More later. |

When I did my science degree back in the 70's, my lecturers openly talked of past pole shifts to a few days ago the ABC news spoke of the south pole moving towards Adelaide - Knowledge of past shifts has existed for a long time. |

people on here, and in the media continue to mix global shift, and pole shift up. Polar shift, happens normally, as our planet has a wobble, this wobble places the north pole over Canada, to Siberia, the same happens with the south pole. Global Shift, is when the entire planet changes its position altogether, so for example, Antarctica could easily be in a sunny climate, and the south pole would then be the south pacific... then there is the matter of the planet spinning the opposite direction, which has nothing to do with polar shift, or global shift. The poles reversing on the other hand, is something else entirely different... its easy to mix the up and confuse them, but a polar shift, is not going to change anything on our planet, a global shift on the other hand will mass murder the human race, and many other species. The reversing of our rotation, will cause mass hysteria and lead to many deaths, but will not do to much environmental damage, planet slows down, stops, changes rotation, starts to speed up back to normal. Environmental damage is short term, and not life threatening. Days will begin to get longer and longer,as do nights, eventually one side is complete darkness, other side in perpetual sunlight, and those in-between are in perpetual dusk and dawn, then days being to get shorter and eventually back to a normal 24h clock of night and day. This process could take 48hrs (yes that short) to 10 years(that would be very very bad). As for the poles completely flipping spots... this is theoretically impossible to happen, unless the planet turned upside down, which i guess if it can global shift, that very well could be the shift, but doubtful, not to that degree... On a side note, the planet could also start spinning vertically, like uranus does, that would be an interesting outcome, that would make the equator in 2 points rather cold, and the poles. I don't think it would happen, but its interesting to think about. |
