I want everyone to keep an eye in the sky at the end of January 2012, Eros will be making its closest pass. This near-earth asteroid is HUGE and back in 1996 scared a lot of NASA scientists and astrologist around the world because it was on a collision course for our planet. It was so talked about that Hollywood jumped on the band wagon and made 2 films about it Armageddon and Deep Impact as well as a few low budget productions and mini series. This Asteroid will come so close to the Earth that Nasa has confirmed it will bounce off our atmosphere and move harmlessly away. What makes it significant is the fact this will the first possible disaster scenario for 2012 because anything could go wrong and lately the media has been harping on asteroids but without mentioning EROS directly. If Eros was to hit the Earth, it would in fact be a Extinction Level Event (ELE). Striking into an ocean would create a tsunami on biblical proportions and striking a continent would be the equivalent of a 1000 ICBM detonating at once. The dust would block out the sun and end most life on Earth. You could not breath the air as the dust would go into your lungs and suffocate you, and if you are near the impact zone the dust would be traveling so fast it would sand blast the flesh from your bones. So keep an eye on that sky and prepare for anything.
