In Mathew 24, Jesus discusses with his disciples the "end of the age". Now i haven't looked up the original translation but notice it says end of "age" , not end of "world". That's another reason i believe that this manmade "system" of things is what will be brought to an end, not the comlete destruction of the planet. As I've stated before i still believe there will be many earth changing catastrophes. But the verse i want to discuss in ch. 24 is verse 7 and 8. Jesus says " There will famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains" Birth pains is key. I think it is describing in what manner these natural disasters will take place. Women will probably understand this better, but all should get the point. When labor begins, the contractions start mild and are usually far apart. As it progresses, they become more intense and more frequent. Getting stronger and closer until..birth. I think this is what we will see with the earthquakes and other events. Yes they have always been happening and we have better technology now to detect these things. but what we will see is as we get closer, they will become much bigger and more frequent. I believe this process started a while ago and you can even see today, especially this year, how bigger earthquakes are becoming more frequent. Haiti, chili, california, china, etc. Keep a watchful eye!
