I am no expert.I only learn from documentaries on tv,but I sure would like to know why my mountain has not seen snow yet.Every year just like spring or halloween or my morning coffee I have always been ready for September 1st.The first snowfall of the year. This month is half over and even the evening temperatures are at 50 degrees. And I am at an elevation of over 6,500 ft.And I can only imagine what is happening along this same continental line all the way through the sphire of the earth on the other side of the world from me.Global warming, what a topic. My world is changing. It is staying warmer longer. But at least my garden is not freezing like it does every year at this time.Whats going on?

A small and lovely snow flurry this morning. No accumilation.17 days late.It is still too warm to snow at elevations of 6000 ft above sea level. My own surroundings are what tells me the facts of global warming.

These incredible warm temperatures now in November are actually breath taking.I am seeing birds that have never migrated here before. It is also good to my spirit and health as these new sights and sensations fill me with such energy.3 times now I have only seen a dusting of snow and quick melt as fall holds her grip on this mountain on the rocky mountain front of the Helena,Great falls area.I think I like global warming.I need to get a lot more bird food for the flocks that are hungry.

Record setting temperatures last night at -8 degrees below zero and dropping yet for a couple of days in Montana. But the snow finally came so I can finally go snowmobiling and snowboarding.I can also keep the ladies warm on theser bitter cold nights..

For every action there is an equal oppisite reaction.Warm temperatures in september through November have in a facinating way brought record cold in late November.-18 degrees below zero today.Average temps do not generally drop below zero this time of year.It is the perfect time to cuddle in a warm home and show the love.

Austrailia,California and all the rest of the flood areas in the world I wish you well in your recovery's.There is so little I can do for people so far away but hope.No one wishes to see what we all know what has been fortold to us all. When you have new friends and you know their lives are effected by it you hope for their health and welfare. It is your defining moments all over the world.Be brave!

Rain rain and more rain in January on the rocky mountain front of Montana.Could this be the next tropical paradise?

The pole shift has moved the sun 5 days ahead.Living off the grid and in my special location gives me an important eye for watching the sun return as like the turn of winter solstice.Generally the sun reaches a point where it climbs back over the mountain on January 24.But it did that today. That also means that I have 10 more days of fuller sun to charge my batteries with my solar panels. All the earthquacks and volcanoes must have done their part.
