About me:
Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to find this new family! I have been actively studying and meditating over the condition of our planet, our government and the upcoming events that are rapidly approaching for almost three years now and have come to the conclusion that it is well worth weighing out where my family and I choose to continue to live and sustain ourselves. We have been doing everything on our own to stock food, medical supplies and even weapons in case of emergency. Furthermore we have a good selection or organic seeds and fencing to put up for goats, chickens and rabbits. Now we are sitting here teetering on whether we should spend the time planting the garden and getting livestock or take what we have canned and dehydrated and head for someplace away from the city...we both feel this is the best solution but don't really know where to go. These are such confusing circumstances. Do we go high, do we build underground, do we stay where we are and hope we can fight it out. Ultimately, we wish to be in a community of like minded persons and work as a team in creating a safe, sustainable life for us. Does anyone have any recommendations, I really look forward to hearing from you! God bless you and yours during these trying times!
Additional Information
Occupations:
Executive Secretary; A/P & A/R, Payroll; I also have been actively remodeling a home for the past three years, so have knowledge of drywall, some plumbing, painting, tiling, demolition (how hard is that though...lol), I can also cut wood and put it together, not bad for a chicky, chicky, eh? My "husband" is a complete Maguyver and can do ANYTHING. He's the kind of guy who can take a toothpick and duct tape and build a mall...haha. Seriously though, between the two of us, we have a lot of knowledge and hard working minds to bring into any community that would be willing to accept us into their fold. I also forgot to mention that my "husband" worked for a water department for 25 years so he also has excessive knowledge in water purification and systems. Finally he is trained in HAZMAT, OSHA, and we both are CPR/First Aid Trained.
Companies:
American Gypsum; Feizy Rugs; Blue Cross/Blue Shield;
Education:
Burns Union High School - Diploma
Arlington Career Institute - Court Reporting (could not complete unfortunately due to divorce and move)
Interests & Hobbies:
LOVE to read and research, I do it all day long...drives my "husband" a little crazy but knowledge is power in my opinion. I also love to meditate for hours, my sprituality and closeness with our Source are very important to me. I enjoy cooking, canning, dehydrating foods. Swimming, walking and PLAYING with my grandson, who is an Angel straight from heaven! So far as global interests, I am a member of Project 9/12; Freedomworkers and the New Republic of the United States. I am NOT a radical when it comes to my beliefs on the government, I simply believe they are doing an extremely poor job at it and destroying this once amazing nation. My interest is in watching the trends, more or less, seeing where things are headed.
Places Lived:
Burns, Oregon; Portland, Oregon; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Jacksonville, Florida and am currently in Fort Worth, Texas I MISS THE WEST COAST THOUGH, desperately. I miss trees, nature, water...I'm so tired of living in a concrete jungle!
Favorite Music:
I love all types of music from Oldies, Blues, Pop, Classical and New Age. The only music I can't really handle is RAP! I'm also not a huge fan of jazz...its kind of "busy" in my opinion. I like Blues, just not the chaos of some Jazz. My favorite bands...hmmm, Journey, Heart, ABBA...hehe, Rod Stewart, I even love Barry Mannilow...yep, I said it, I do, sorry!
Favorite Destinations:
Oregon, Washington, Northern California, anyplace GREEN AND BEAUTIFUL! I haven't had the luxury of travelling abroad so I, of course, am very open to it so long as it will be a safe location in the upcoming times ahead.
Favorite Movies & Shows:
I love all romantic comedies....literally, all of them so I can't list a favorite. I also enjoy really good mysteries, dramas, some action movies like Die Hard, Terminator, Jurassic Parks, LOVED Avatar. I don't watch a lot of TV anymore, it's too full of reality TV for my liking. When I do watch TV, it is always the History Channel, The Discovery Channel or National Geographic and The Animal Channel.
Favorite Books:
Like I said, I'm a research type person so I read everything to do with Homesteading, living like the Native American Indians, How to Raise Chickens, Goats, Rabbits, etc.; I have all of Tom Browns books for surviving in either Urban or Rural areas. I read a lot of books on Channeling, Angels, 2012 related, The Mayans, The Hopi's, that type of genre.
Favorite Quotes:
"Every now and then when the world sits just right, a gentle breath of heaven fills my soul with delight..."
